2020-2021 Preschool Program
With careful consideration to COVID concerns, there are changes to our FM Preschool Programming for the 2020-2021 school year. We will NOT be offering a 3-year-old program at the beginning of the school year. Our 4-year-old program will only be offered two days a week (as opposed to 3 days during a traditional year). If COVID guidelines lighten up, we will reconsider the possibility of enrolling 3-year-olds later in the school year as well as offer extra time for our 4-year-olds. However, at this time, I do not know when that will happen.
We will miss getting to know our 3-year-old students and families. They are a joy to have in preschool. We do not take this decision lightly, and we truly hope to be able to serve our threes later in the year if at all possible.
Please look for additional information regarding registration in the next week or two. Home visits will not be conducted in August, but the teachers will schedule a time to meet with each enrolled preschool family at school prior to school starting. Four-year-olds will attend EITHER on a Monday/Tuesday OR a Thursday/Friday. This means the 4-year-olds will attend two days in a row each week. The hours of their school day will be 8:15am - 3:25pm. Preschool begins the week of September 7.
Please direct any questions you have to the preschool teachers or Allyson Forney at aforney@fmtabor.org.
