
In 2nd & 3rd grade we talked about Veterans Day. We put together a writing project that will be hung in the Lied Commons area for our Veterans Day program. After the program is over, we will send this project to our local VFW, who then passes them along to our veterans.











This Friday and Saturday, come watch A Christmas Carol! Tickets are available for purchase beforehand or at the door.
Also new this year, flowers will be available for purchase at the door.

There will be a HS girls basketball meeting on Sunday, November 10th, 6-7 pm in the Lied commons.

It was an exciting Friday at Fremont Mills! These elementary students were the first students to enter the “100 Club” for being extremely respectful, responsible, and safe at school.

The Fremont Mills Student Council students have teamed up to sponsor a food drive for the Tabor Food Pantry. Items can be brought to school until November 15th.


Don't forget - We would like to invite all FM families and community members to our Veterans Day Program on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Veterans are encouraged to arrive at 9:30 a.m. to join in light refreshments prior to the program.


Despite the long lines, 382 students and staff enjoyed voting in our Mock Presidential Election. Everyone is excited to watch for the results of the national election.





8th grade euphonium player Kyanna Schoening will represent Fremont-Mills at the 2024 Southwest Iowa Bandmasters Association Middle School Honor Band. Students from all over Southwest Iowa auditioned last Saturday at Clarinda Middle School and those selected will perform together on Friday, November 15 at Lewis Central High School in Council Bluffs. Congratulations to Kyanna for being selected two years in a row.


On Friday, author, David Nieves brought "Reptiles Up Close" to the FM Auditorium for the K-6 students. David brought turtles, frogs, lizards and snakes and taught the students about reptiles in our area and around the world.










65 students from the Fremont-Mills Spanish Club spent Halloween day taking in the cultural sights, sounds, and flavors of South Omaha. The students completed a scavenger hunt by taking selfies in front of signage with vocabulary words or cultural themes. The annual field trip is a favorite of all who participate, both of students and of parent chaperones.

Today "Ag in the Classroom" came to 2nd grade. Amber McClary taught us about different types of corn & then we did an experiment with water & cornstarch and made “Oobleck” slime. After the experiment, we discussed how it behaves like a solid and a liquid.




Football Banquet will be Monday at 6:00 PM in the Auditorium.

There will be a boys basketball parent meeting on Sunday after open gym at approximately 7:00pm.

The FM Art Club students recently had their 4th Annual Pumpkin Painting Contest. Voting was open during PT Conferences on Oct 24th. Winners are: 1st Place - Parker Goodrich, 2nd Place - DeVon Pitcher and 3rd Place - Balynda Hallas.
