F-M Instrumental students performed at the 2024 IHSMA Solo and Ensemble Contest at Lenox HS on April 13. They received four Superior (I) ratings (Mixed Instrument Choir; Flute Solo; Piano Solo; Flute/Clarinet Duet) and two Excellent (II) ratings (Clarinet Quartet; Trombone Solo). Thanks to Mrs. Charm Smith for accompanying the soloists.

The FM Drama Department Presents Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella: Youth Edition. Show starts at 7pm on Friday, April 26th and Saturday, April 27th. At 6pm on Monday, April 22nd the cast and crew will be putting on a sponsor night. For $15 they will provide you with dinner and a sneak peek of the show.
Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate presented the Carrie Chapman Catt
Award to Fremont Mills High School on Friday, April 12. The award goes to any Iowa
high school that registers at least 90% of eligible students to vote.
Fremont-Mills Middle and Senior High School registered 100% of eligible senior
students as part of the Carrie Chapman Catt Award. They are one of 126 high schools who have signed up to participate in the program, and one of 44 high schools who have met the requirements to be awarded the Carrie Chapman Catt Award this year. This is the high school’s second year receiving the award.
The JH track meet at Griswold has been postponed. Make up date TBD.
