A group of 8th grade students went on a field trip to the SAC Museum in Ashland today. These students have been reading a Holocaust memoir and researching Holocaust-related topics in their reading and English classes, and this field trip served as a great bookend to these units. The trip included a tour of the “Searching for Humanity” exhibit, a lesson on Anti-Semitism and bias, as well as a guest speaker. Michael Krausman shared his father’s story of surviving the Holocaust through recorded interviews and secondhand testimony. It was a great day, and a trip students won’t soon forget!

Wednesday was Pint Size Science day for the FM PreK 4yr old class, Miss Dawn from Lakin Library, Miss Heidi from Fremont County Extension, and Miss Angie. We were helping on the farm today by being engineers. The kids each made 3 structures: a bridge over the pond for the cows, a chicken coop, and a pen for the pigs.

Thank you to the five Fremont-Mills FFA Members that served the Fremont County Cattlemen's Association at their banquet on Saturday, February 5th.

Senior Night and Winter Ball were held on Friday. Adam Perrin and Madison Baker were crowned King and Queen and JT Mahaney and Abby Roach were crowned Prince and Princess.

Ceramics students recently made planters that can be hung on the wall and then, as a finishing touch, they planted succulents in them. Beautiful!

Coaches Williams and Sudmann took the JH girls basketball team to see a Northwest Missouri State basketball game. The girls got a tour of the locker room and facilities. They also gave high-fives to the team as they ran out on the court! Super cool experience for the girls!

Senior Night and Winter Ball coronation will both take place after the girls varsity game. The dance will take place after the conclusion of the basketball games. Admission is $5 per individual, or $7 per couple. No admittance after 10:00 PM. The dance will conclude at midnight.
