
2022 F-M Prom/Post Prom is scheduled for Saturday, April 23rd and Sunday, April 24th. Below is the schedule of events:
Saturday, April 23rd
Prom:
5:30pm - 5:45pm: Car show in front of High School (NOTE: IF RAINING, CAR SHOW WILL BE CANCELED)
5:30pm - 5:45pm: All other prom attendees park in South parking lot and enter South Gym doors
5:45pm: Prom attendees report to South Gym
6:00pm: Promenade & Coronation in Lied Gym - spectators please enter through the HS front entrance
7:00pm: Dinner
7:30pm - 8:30pm: Professional photos in Mrs. Malcom's room
8:30pm: Dance begins
11:00pm: Dance ends
Post Prom:
11:30pm - 12:30am: Hypnotist in auditorium
Sunday, April 24th
12:30am - 2:00am: Tabor Brew House & Shakey Grounds drinks available
1:00am - 3:00am: Games/Activities
~3:00am - 5:00am: Clean up & Breakfast
~5:00am - 5:30am: Raffle prize drawings (must be in attendance to win)

FM’s 7th-12th art students participated in the CC Art show in Griswold. They earned a total of 110 ribbons including 6 Best of Show ribbons, 37 First Place, 32 Second Place, 30 Third Place and 5 Honorable Mentions . Aubrey Mitchell was a double Best of Show winner.

5th graders learned how to use the micro:bit radio capabilities to send messages. This helped them to get into random groups to investigate and answer a question of their choice using Mystery Science. @judygriffinaea Green Hills Tech Integrationist, helped lead the lesson.

Senior FFA Officers conducted interviews for next years’s FFA officers. Thirteen students were interviewed for next year’s positions.

Tomorrow's high school track meet at AHSTW has been cancelled.

These third graders volunteered to clean the school yard during recess. Thanks to them for picking up all of this trash!


K-2 students had a STEM maker day in the library. These students wanted to show off their creations.





Officer Luke was spotted in the "Iowa Law Enforcement" magazine advertising DARE. Officer Luke is currently instructing DARE to our fifth grade students. The magazine shows pictures from last year's FM DARE Graduation. We are lucky to have such a great program in our school.


There is extra chicken left for sale from the Softball Chicken Dinner. 10 pieces for $15.00. It will be available until approximately 7:15 in the MP.

Four-year-old FM preschoolers are becoming young paleontologists. They are “digging” learning about dinosaurs!





Children learn and retain more when they can apply their learning by teaching others. Look at these cute little kindergarten teachers as they teach their classmates!



Second graders are performing a readers theater, “All About Spiders” to first and second grade classrooms.
