Preschool started Pint Size Science this week with Dawn Miller from the Tabor Library. She comes to preschool once a month with Heidi Lowthorp from the Fremont County Extension Office, and they teach students all about science by doing fun experiments. Our kids love this!

To celebrate 4-H Week, local 4-Hers came to school early and greeted students. They also put up a display in the library so students could see some projects and find out more information.

Kelli Blair, Iowa Western Medical Assistant Program Director, came to speak to two of Molly Crom’s health classes about the opportunities in health care and current health technology.

Mrs. Schaaf’s sixth grade class got to participate in a Live Zoom with author, Lauren Tarshis who wrote the “I Survived” book series. Ms. Tarshis spoke about her book “I Survived the Great Chicago Fire”. Today is the 150th anniversary of the fire.
