First Grade enjoyed our visit to the Tabor Manor. We read and sang to the residents. Everyone had a great experience!


K-2 students used bee-bots to practice coding during their library special. Mrs. Griffin, AEA Technology Integrationist, came down to assist Mrs. Wake with the lessons. We will be doing this for the next several weeks tying the coding in with books and other activities on space,





The Elementary Kindness Club put on the January “Knights Take Charge” assembly. Ms. Allyson gave the attendance awards for December and for the semester. Selected students were honored for their behavior and were chosen to play in a penguin relay game. The kindness links were stretched out and they nearly made it around the auditorium!

Next for Kesterson is the bracket's number 32 seed - Kerene Panya of LeMars - in the first round of consolation
Next for Sapienza - who is seeded 6th at 140 - will be McKenzie Tollefson of Decorah, the bracket's number 11 seed.
All of the top eight seeds won their first round match at 140
