FFA News


Brooklyn Ramos (10th Clarinet) Shanti Langille (9th Trumpet) Wyatt Lemonds (7th Trumpet) Kelly Holt (12th Tuba) and Isaac Roach (9th Clarinet) participated in the 2022 IWCC Honor Band on January 24. 23 Nebraska and Iowa school districts performed in the band.


Our kindness chains are getting longer as we notice when others are being kind. Kindness is sweet!


Our 5th and 6th grade Kindness Club members have been working hard. KC members meet during their lunch and recess a couple of Mondays a month. Members help with various elementary activities.





There are seven Southwest Iowa Warrior wrestlers traveling to Iowa City this weekend for the IWCOA girls state wrestling tournament.
All the best to Clara Sapienza, Emily Kesterson, Laney Morrical, Braelyn Wilson, Tatiana Orozco, Lillian Howe and Madison Hensley.



Casey is our SLPA from Green Hills who is in our building twice a week. Shout out to her for wearing a Fremont-Mills shirt! We’re glad she’s part of our family!


Congratulations to Teagan Ewalt on her huge accomplishment of breaking the in-season block record at 44, previously held at 42 by Andrea & Ashley McClary. Awesome job Teagan!


Lillian Howe (10th Grade Trombone) Kelly Holt (12th Grade Tuba) Brooklyn Ramos (10th Grade Clarinet) Shanti Langille (9th Grade Trumpet) and Isaac Roach (9th Grade Clarinet) were selected by audition for the 2022 BOCH (Band, Orchestra, Choir Honor) Festival at UNO.


Two of our kindergarten students are using our smart board to practice letter names, sounds and sequence.

Sending a reminder to you all:
There is NO SCHOOL tomorrow, Monday, January 17 at Fremont Mills. The day is scheduled for teacher professional development. School resumes at regular time on Tuesday.

Fremont-Mills will be dismissing school today January 14, 2022 at 1:15 pm. There will be no after school activities.

Officer Luke is back and taking our 5th and 6th graders for rides in his police squad car. Keyana and Katie got to go on an afternoon ride around Tabor this week. Thanks to Officer Alex Killpack who was with us the first semester.


The fifth and sixth graders are reading their poems this week during the school library’s annual Poetry Cafe. The library is lit with candles (electric of course) and the students are treated to water and cookies as they listen to the poetry.
