Our shed full of our preschool toys got destroyed in the storm. (The toys are okay and third grade collected them for us this morning). These strong preschoolers took it upon themselves to clean up pieces of the shed in our play area! 💪
The FM Sixth grade held their annual two-day Christmas sale this week. PK - fifth graders got to shop for presents for their family members. Everything cost from .25 to $2.00 and could be wrapped. Money raised this year will go to fund Kindness Club activities.

Dear Fremont-Mills Families,
We are writing to let you know we are aware of the online social media threat via TikTok, “American School Shooting Day” for tomorrow, December 17th. To our knowledge, these threats are not local but have been screen-captured and shared via social media across the United States. While these are generalized across the country, it is necessary for everyone to be aware of this social media threat.
We have been in contact with our School Resource Officer and are ensuring the proper precautions are in place including having an SRO on site the entire school day. In accordance, we would like all students, parents, community members, and staff to contact the office if you hear of any such threats, large or small.
We have no reason at this time to believe this is targeted at our school. We will, as always, be very vigilant to make sure our students and staff have a great Friday!
If anything requires immediate attention, please dial 911. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Fremont Mills Administration
Fremont-Mills will dismiss school today at 1 pm.
All students and staff (preschool, elementary, and high school) are invited to participate in Friday's "Hats and Hearts" to the East Mills Community!
Through an anonymous donor, Tabor Brew House brought Tabor Brew House drinks of our choice to all staff. Thanks to the donor for supporting us and a great local business!
K, 1 and 2 students had fun celebrating Grinch Day. They played Bingo, ate snacks and had Grinch-themed snacks. They ended the day with a movie and a special visit from the Grinch himself! The Grinch showed us it is important to be kind.
Doors for tonight's 6-12 Winter Concert will open at 6:30 PM. Admission is free-will donation.

Mrs. Murphy’s friend Marcia joined the 7th grade writing classes to share her journey of becoming a United States citizen. She was born and raised in Brazil. In high school, Marcia came to the U.S. as a foreign exchange student. Now she is married and lives in Nebraska.
Please note that tonight's basketball games will be in Fairfax, with JV girls starting at 4:00. They will be hosting a spaghetti supper from 5:00 - 7:00 for anyone interested.

The elementary students were excited to bring money for the Jingle Jars competition. We are collecting money in December to train a service dog that will be used by a paraprofessional in our building.
Mary Beth Korver and Todd Morgan were both sworn in as school board members at the meeting on Monday night. Eli Forney was sworn in as the new president and Mary Beth was sworn in as the new Vice President. Thank you for your service to our school.
Thanks to these students for pitching in by picking up trash after school until we hire new nighttime janitors. We appreciate your help!
