A group of 8th grade students took a field trip to the SAC Museum today for an experience organized by the Institute of Holocaust Education in Nebraska. This trip concludes the Holocaust literature unit in which students read Night by Elie Wiesel, a Holocaust survivor. Today’s trip included a guided tour of the Searching for Humanity Exhibit, a Holocaust lesson, an anti-bias lesson (led by members of the Anti-Defamation League), and guest speaker Michael Krausman, who shared his father Henry’s survivor testimony.
